GEM XVI at Murramarang

Bushland at MurramaramgTravel to GEM XVI

Murramarang Resort is located at South Durras, a small town about 20 kms north of Bateman’s Bay on the south coast of NSW.

It can be reached by car from Sydney (3.5 hour drive), Canberra (2 hour drive) or Melbourne (8 hour drive).

The nearest airport is at Moruya, approximately 35 km south, and flights from Sydney are provided by Rex airlines.

Note that while Hertz offers car hire from this airport, their office is only open Monday to Friday.

KangaroosFor those delegates coming from further afield, we would advise that you consider flying to either Sydney or Canberra and hiring a vehicle. We may be able to provide limited help with transportation to and from the meeting from either Sydney or Canberra for those that require assistance. Please contact us in that case.

There is also a bus service from Sydney-Melbourne, operated by Premier Motor Service, which will stop at the turn-off to the Murramarang Resort (at a small town called Benandarah) - you must request this stop as it is not a sheduled stop. Tickets must be booked in advanced.

If you plan to use the bus please let us know and we shall arrange to pick people up at Benandarah and get them to Murramarang.
