Custom Optics

Binoculars with filtered lensesWhile many other companies have targeted the large volume market for their products, we specialise in the custom design and state-of-the-art optical coating market.

Our extensive list of accomplishments and long-standing reputation for quality makes us the correct choice for custom designed filters and coatings. Our highly qualified staff has extensive experience in the design and application of optical coatings and we will be happy to assist you in any possible way.

Feel free to contact us for any queries you may have.

Extended Region Laser Blocking Colour-corrected Filters

A number of Colour Corrected Laser Protection Filter designs are available on request. Examples below illustrate two radically different approaches to laser protection filter design.

Tunable Fabry-Perot Etalons

We have also been involved with the production of tunable Fabry-Perot etalons. Please click here to view the etalon section under Optical Fabrication.

Reference Surfaces for Interferometric Measurement of High and Low Reflecting Surfaces

We can design and produce a coating for the reference surface of a double-beam interferometer which will allow testing of high as well as low reflecting surfaces.

This graph shows transmittance (T) and reflectance (R-coated surface from the air and R'-coated surface from the substrate side) of the reference surface. Optical designs tailored to your needs are available upon request.
